Introduction:
Rational Number: The number ‘$r$’ is called a rational number , if it can be written in the form $p/q$ , where $p$ and $q$ are integers and $q$ ≠ 0 . Rational number includes natural numbers, whole numbers and integers.
Co-prime: The numbers $p$ and $q$ are co-prime if $p$ and $q$ have no common factors other than 1 .
Natural numbers: Numbers from 1,2,3 and so on is called natural number.
Whole Number: If we add 0 in the natural number , it is called whole number.
Important Note:
Every integer $m$ can be expressed in the form $m/1$ , so every integer is a rational number.
But every rational number is not an integer.
