What are multiples?

The product of two numbers are called multiples. Muiltiples are multiplication of a given number.



PROPERTIES OF MULTIPLES
1) Every number is a multiples of itself.
2) Every number is a multiple of 1 .
3) Every multiples is greater than or equal to that number.
4) The first(smallest) multiples of every number is the number itself.
5) The multiples of any number are infinite. So there is no greatest multiples.

eg. What are the first 5 multiples of 5 ?


First five multiple of 5 are 1) 5x1=5 2) 5x2=10 3) 5x3=15 4) 5x4=20 5) 5x5=25

eg. What are the first 5 multiples of 7 ?


First five multiple of 7 are 1) 7 2) 14 3) 21 4) 28 5) 35
